Website screen design - now in CSS

Last night - I created a page layout in Powerpoint.
24 hours later - I have started to create the CSS style sheet for my website homepage.

You can see my page layout here:

I have also started to use PHP include() function for the navigation menu. The links are saved in a separate file called menu.php. The html files are now saved with a .php extension.

I read in the Albino Blacksheet blog that you are meant to keep all the "included" files in a separate folder. I'll keep that in mind for my project, and will also check with Alastair next week.

  1. But... it only works in Firefox.... since this website is for a real business, I'm going to have to make sure it supports other browsers...

  2. Hi Tammy, I'm the dealer for the UK and came across your project. Looking good! I had to quickly make up a site without any experience so adapted a template. I'll be interested in how yours develops. Best wishes~
